Item Caracterización de biomateriales de tres casas comerciales para técnicas metal-free en tecnología CAD-CAM y análoga, una revisión de literatura rápida(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Urrea Ramos, Luis Felipe; Angulo Carabali, Adriana Carolina; Moncayo Renza, Valentina; Bedoya Arias, Wilmer (Director)The growing development of dental biomaterials and the technologies applied to dental mechanics dentistry, advance vertiginously to the point that it becomes a confusion. To know which biomaterial or which technique is indicated for each case and each patient, this study was carried out with the objective of characterizing the dental ceramic biomaterials of three commercial houses in Colombia, applied to analog and digital techniques. MATERIALS AND METHODS: (RLR) of literature 2010-2020, in sources of tertiary information: (Institutional Repositories) Secondary, (ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet, Research Gate, Medigraphic) and primary (Review of references in English, Spanish and Portuguese). ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Inclusion: descriptive, experimental, quasi-experimental studies, thesis, graduate work; variable of interest (Classification of secondary ceramics: characteristics and composition of ceramics). RESULTS: A total of 123 publications were located, of which 18 met the SR search criteria, distributed temporally: 2018-2019 (n = 5) 2017-2016 (n = 4) 2015-2014 (n = 3) 2013-2012 (n = 2) 2011-2010 (n = 4). The articles that were included contained the classifications of the ceramics and reported the components of each type, system that is used and brand that markets it. CONCLUSIONS: The most reported commercial house was (Ivoclar), which reported injection as the most used technique, with the following systems: IPS e.Max Zirpress based on zirconium oxide, IPS e.Max Press system based on disilicate For lithium, the recommended systems to work in the downstream sector are those of the commercial company (Vita) and (Denstply) due to their components, although the In-Ceram® Spinell system of the commercial company (Vita) has a a mixture called spinel, which has great characteristics due to its crystals more translucent than those of alumina, so it can be used in previous restorations. This work is aimed at dental students, and also at the academic community of Technology in Dental Mechanics of the Santiago de Cali University and / or the general public, reducing the margin of error in university practice and in the future when practicing as a professional; The research also provides knowledge about the satisfaction that can be offered to patients by knowing the material in detail and the characteristics offered by each of the commercial houses.
