Item Análisis de las tendencias de los trabajos de grado del programa de Atención Prehospitalaria de la USC periodos 1999A - 2023A(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Atehortua Sánchez, Jaider Joel; López Guzmán, Carlos Alberto (Director)Quantitative bibliometric analysis plays an important role in academic research and is particularly significant in the analysis of undergraduate papers, such as dissertations and theses. Bibliometrics involves the quantitative analysis of scholarly publications, including books, theses, and other academic papers. The incorporation of bibliometric analysis in undergraduate work is based on a systematic, data-driven approach to understanding the state of higher education, increasing the depth and rigor of the research, capable of providing valuable information that contributes to the originality, relevance and impact of the research and ultimately to the quality of the work. Universidad Santiago de Cali with the support of its faculty promotes, educates and motivates its students to elaborate degree works, with methodological proposals such as research or monographs. This in order to contribute to the academic development and training of future researchers. All degree works are delivered to the repository of the Santiago Cadena Copete library, which is located at the Pampalinda headquarters. Given the effort and great commitment made by the library, its contribution to information management should be highlighted, but it should also be noted that there were some aspects to be improved, such as the loss of a good amount of degree works in a specific period of time. This loss of information is a consequence of poor storage of the degree works in CD format, as a result of their deterioration.
