Biosecurity in dental laboratories is of increasing interest due to the misuse of biological materials from elements that had contact with patient fluids, which can be an indirect route of transmission of microganisms to technical personnel. As well as exposure to aerosols produced by the procedures of wear and polish of prosthetics. On the other hand, tension and poor postures during the development of the profession harm and contribute to the appearance of physical problems. In this work a compilation of literature on reported working conditions was made, in dental prosthetic laboratories, analyzing biosecurity and ergonomics. concluding the need for greater motivation and instruction in biological risk control in the labour recession, as well as actions aimed at iii preserving the health of the laboratorist.
