Propuesta de mejora al modelo de producción de Peletería Jeylor mediante el uso de técnicas Lean Manufacturing

In this articule, we show the analysis and improve of the production model of a footwear company called leatherwork, dedicated to transformation of diferents pieces for manufacturing footwear using different types of machine, also offers the service of sale of supplies and materials for manufacturers and independent brands, for which a diagnosis will be made of the current performance of the company's operations and the most critical areas to which the most appropriate Lean Manufacturing techniques will be adjusted to determine and eliminate the waste and mudas found, which will be reflected in a production model as a proposal. Finally, a costbenefit evaluation of the implementation of the defined proposal is made. From the results obtained changes are observed in the physical appearance of the plant and in the daily functioning of all its processes, which leave benefits such as reduction of cycle times, delivery of orders within the agreed deadlines and fully standardized processes, factors that directly impact the productivity and profits of the company.
