Item Análisis de costos para una implementación de metodología Six Sigma con base en variables de calidad total (TQM) en el proceso de extracción de petróleo en Colombia para el año 2019(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Silva Ruiz, Mayra Alejandra; García Jiménez, Juan Camilo (Director)The oil has been listed for many years, in Colombia, as the quintessential commodity, being then the basis of the country's economy, which has prompted several researchers to look for ways to make the process much more effective and efficient. On the other hand, the Six Sigma methodology has been proposed as one of the most efficient tools when planning processes and reducing times and costs, in fact this document has the main objective: to analyze the costs for an implementation Six Sigma methodology based on total quality variables (TQM) in the oil extraction process in Colombia for the year 2019, for which it is required to meet three specific objectives, the first of which involves the specification of the form functional to be applied for the implementation of the Six Sigma methodology in the oil extraction process, then seeks to establish the quality variables for the Six Sigma implementation in the oil extraction process, and finally specifying the costs of implementing the methodology defined in the previous objectives, for the realization of this study it was necessary to take care of the methodology posed by Al Kindi & Al Lawati (2016) and by Bubshait & Al-Dosary (2014), given which achieved results that the main costs adjacent to the Six Sigma methodology implementation process are labor-related. Concluding the research process, it is necessary that the formation of an appropriate methodology depends to a large extent on the training that the workforce in charge of this process must possess. This research analyzes the B2C management environment of Tienda Blue, a company dedicated to the sale of cosmetic products through social networks, where it was found that there are shortcomings in the management of customer relations, considered a significant problem because it wants to position itself in the market. In order to provide a solution to the problem, the main objective was to design a customer retention strategy, which is developed using common methodologies in commercial engineering such as: analysis of commercial context, data structuring and BPM (business process management) flows. It is worth mentioning that the MSMEs markets represent a primary economic activity since the number of firms in this sector is very large since it is found in the manufacturing sector where there is a wide range of production units. The following work present an analysis of the operational risks that can affect the physical integrity of the operators in the gold smelting, which is vital for microenterprises like Yago jeweler´s. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to propose an operational risk management system in the gold smelting process in the Yago jeweler´s store in the city of Santiago de Cali, in order to reduce accident rate, comply with industrial safety regulations and good industry practices. To comply with the objective, tools such as the risks panorama matrix were applied, which evidences the materialization of the following: crucible with a temperature below the standard, excessive accumulation of toxic gases, excess heat that is tolerable for humans, laceration or physical trauma in the operators and plaster mold with a temperature below 7,000C°. The investigation was divided into four stages, where qualitative and quantitative tools and methods were applied, such as the semi-structured interview, Monte Carlo analysis, risk panorama matrix and others, in order to understand the microenterprise in an integral way, design the controls, evaluate its economic and reputational impact. In addition, the analysis of the probability of occurrence and the impact of the risks identified in the panorama matrix, evidenced that certain behaviors, practices and actions, if not adequately controlled, can generate potentially dangerous situations for the physical integrity of the personnel and the efficiency of the gold smelting process in the microenterprise.Item Propuesta de implementación de la metodología Seis Sigma en el proceso de producción del café tostado y molido(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Gallego Urrea, Sara Nataly; García Jiménez, Juan Camilo (Director)The constant improvement of each one of the phases that are involved in the production processes, especially in coffee, are important to increase its quality and this way, achieve a better product. For example, with conditions to be a standardized product, when it come to color, flavor, scent and density. This can be achieved implementing the Six Sigma methodology, this allows standard the quality characteristics and includes controlled conditions for its operation. In this study, it was evident the lack of scientific documentation about the production process of roasted and grounded under this methodology. This, due to the high costs that this entails. Provoking repetitive processes and generating a higher number of defectives, which implies the need of a partial and effective proposal for this process. This article presents an implementation proposal of the Six Sigma methodology’s optimal variables in the roasted and grounded coffee production process (from cultivated to grounded). The investigation analysis eased the evaluation of factors that were hard to control and the characterization of the process variables that affected its results. The proposal is useful to be applied in the area enterprises that can implement it. Also, have the ability to approach quality improvement projects and mistake reduction in this type of process in high quality coffee production in Colombia with a normal natural statistic.Item Revisión de la metodología de aplicación de principios ágiles scrum en el sector farmacéutico(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Mesa, Clara Isabel; Ospina Leython, Jhosselyn Andrea; González Borja, Charles Javier; García Jiménez, Juan Camilo (Director)The agyl project have been principal objetives improve the development process based in the multi fuctioanal team, with fundamental pillars such as transparency when communicating, responsibility and progress.
