dc.description	La enfermedad de Von Willebrand (EVW) es el trastorno hemorrágico hereditario autosómico más común, afectando hasta el 1% de la población y siendo la tercera enfermedad huérfana más frecuente en Colombia. Este estudio tiene como objetivo determinar los cuidados y el manejo de pacientes con EVW mediante una revisión sistemática de literatura científica publicada entre 2012 y 2022, consultando bases de datos reconocidas como Oxford, Springer, PubMed, Scopus, entre otras. La investigación destaca los avances recientes en el tratamiento de esta patología y subraya la relevancia de los cuidados de enfermería en el abordaje físico, psicológico y social de los pacientes, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
dc.description.abstract	Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) is the most prevalent autosomal hereditary bleeding disorder, characterized by mutations that lead to reduced levels or impaired function of the Von Willebrand Factor (VWF). It affects up to 1% of the global population and ranks as the third most common rare disease in Colombia. This study aims to determine the care and management of patients with VWD through a systematic literature review conducted between 2012 and 2022. The research involved bibliographic searches in scientifically recognized databases such as Oxford, Springer, Science Direct, Scopus, Medline Plus, PubMed, the National Library of Medicine, Scielo, and Google Scholar, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings emphasize the importance of rare diseases and the role of nursing care in supporting individuals with VWD, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. The study highlights how nursing contributes to the appropriate management of this condition both nationally and internationally.
