| dc.description | Esta revisión bibliográfica, realizada entre 2014 y 2024 bajo la estrategia PIO en bases de datos como PubMed y Scielo, analizó 16 estudios seleccionados para determinar la efectividad de las ventosas como tratamiento terapéutico para el manejo del dolor. Los resultados confirmaron que la terapia con ventosas resulta efectiva para disminuir el dolor, mejorar los rangos de movilidad y tratar afecciones musculoesqueléticas de manera segura. En conclusión, la evidencia científica posiciona a esta técnica como una alternativa innovadora y eficaz que logra mejoras notables en la recuperación y el bienestar del paciente, transformando el abordaje fisioterapéutico del dolor. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This literature review, conducted between 2014 and 2024 using the PIO strategy across databases like PubMed and Scopus, analyzed 16 selected studies to determine the effectiveness of cupping as a therapeutic treatment for pain management. The results confirmed that cupping therapy is an effective and safe strategy for reducing musculoskeletal pain, improving range of motion, and enhancing overall patient mobility and well-being. Ultimately, the evidence positions cupping as an innovative, evidence-based alternative capable of transforming physiotherapeutic approaches to both acute and chronic pain. | |
