Abstract
The security in the Internet of things is one of the biggest problems in technology since having an integration and increase of the IoT objects or devices these can cause possible hacking and theft of data from cybercriminals. The main objective of this article is to analyze the elements associated with the security of data in the Internet of Things. We analyze the risks, weaknesses, threats and consider schemes to consider to add security at different levels to an object or an IoT environment. This promising technology will bring about an improvement in the quality of life of human beings and benefits in the health area as well as at the level of smart city, through the application of security mechanisms focused on techniques, methodologies, digital certificates and the contribution legal framework, the identity of the users will be protected and vulnerability will be reduced in the face of IoT threats.

La seguridad en el internet de las cosas es uno de los mayores problemas en tecnología ya que al haber una integración y aumento de los objetos o dispositivos IoT estos pueden ocasionar posibles hackeos y robos de datos por ciberdelincuentes. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo principal analizar los elementos asociados a la seguridad de los datos en el Internet de las Cosas. Se analizan los riesgos, debilidades, amenazas y se plantean esquemas a considerar para agregar seguridad en los diferentes niveles a un objeto o en un entorno IoT. Esta tecnología prometedora traerá consigo un mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los seres humanos y beneficios en el área de salud como a nivel de ciudad inteligente, a través de la aplicación de mecanismos de seguridad enfocados en técnicas, metodologías, certificados digitales y el aporte jurídico de las empresas, se protegerá la identidad de los usuarios y se lograra reducir la vulnerabilidad frente a las amenazas IoT.
