The general objective stated for research was to analyze if the implementation of the skimming skill strategy through videogames is suitable for improving reading comprehension. The videogame was used as a means to use the skimming strategy to find out if it was possible to improve reading comprehension. Throughout the study, a lot of observation took place (including both participant observation as well as non-participant observation), and for that reason, it was necessary to use field notes and questionnaires in order to have sufficient physical data.
