Abstract
Since the beginning of the 20th century, the Colombian State has been regulating prostitution, beginning because it is practiced in houses of prostitution and then creating a standard for the sanitary conditions of these places together with the prevention of STIs. However, the fact that it is regulated does not remove the stigma that society has towards these women. Thus implying that the exercise does not take place in good conditions. The foregoing has repercussions on the health system since sex workers do not have a comprehensive state of it, starting with the care they receive. The objective of this project seeks to analyze the experiences of female sex workers in the city of Cali in relation to the right to health and sanitary conditions in their workplace. For this, a descriptive-synchronous qualitative methodology was developed, and the data was also collected through a semi-structured interview. Feminist and gender theory and the pro-rights approach were used to problematize the different perspectives regarding power relations within the exercise and that these same ones lead them to work there; the rights approach refers to their employment relationship with the establishment and their dignity. Finally, the results show different situations, which symbolically represent a cycle of inequality, in cultural, social and economic patterns and the regular care that these women receive from the health system through the control of their sexuality with prophylaxis.

Desde inicios del siglo XX el Estado colombiano viene reglamentando la prostitución, iniciando porque se practique en casas de prostitución y luego creando una norma para las condiciones sanitarias de estos lugares junto con la prevención de las ITS. No obstante, el que se regule no quita el estigma que la sociedad tiene hacia estas mujeres. Implicando así, que el ejercicio no se dé en buenas condiciones. Lo anterior, repercute en el sistema de salud ya que las trabajadoras sexuales no cuentan con un estado integral de la misma empezando por la atención que reciben. El objetivo de este proyecto busca analizar las experiencias de mujeres trabajadoras sexuales de la ciudad de Cali con relación al derecho a la salud y condiciones sanitarias de su lugar de trabajo. Para ello, se desarrolló una metodología cualitativa de tipo descriptiva-sincrónica también se recolectaron los datos a través de una entrevista semiestructurada. Se utilizó la teoría feminista y de género y el enfoque pro derechos para problematizar las diferentes perspectivas frente a las relaciones de poder al interior del ejercicio y que estas mismas las llevan a trabajar allí; el enfoque de derechos alude a su relación laboral con el establecimiento y la dignidad de estas. Por último, los resultados arrojan diferentes situaciones, las cuales, simbólicamente representan un ciclo de desigualdad, en patrones culturales, sociales y económicos y la regular atención que reciben del sistema de salud estas mujeres por medio del control de su sexualidad con la profilaxis.
