Las competencias matemáticas desde la formulación y resolución de problemas en estudiantes de grado sexto del colegio gimnasio moderno del valle

The objective of this research work is the implementation of a didactic strategy for the strengthening of the mathematical competences through problem situations in the sixth grade of the Colegio Gimnasio Moderno del Valle, in the Municipality of Jamundí (Valle del Cauca). The methodology with which this research work is carried out is qualitative-descriptive, using the case study method. The Polya heuristic method is used as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen the processes of formulating and solving mathematical problems. The main results show that the design of tools for the teaching / learning of problem solving had a positive impact on the 6th grade students of the Colegio Gimnasio Moderno del Valle, although it is noted that they must be developed in a much more periodic way. and extensive to achieve the desired strengthening
