Diseño de un sistema de condensación de la humedad del aire alimentado con paneles solares en la ciudad de Cali

The development of a system to condense air moisture and procure water in rural Cali areas is presented, employing compression refrigeration to serve communities lacking access to water resources. Initially, the required water amount (346 liters/day) and environmental conditions based on NASA and IDEAM data (79% relative humidity and 23.3°C) were determined. System components were selected to establish its energy demand. Subsequently, through analytical calculations and the use of PVsyst software, the photovoltaic system was calculated to achieve grid independence. Finally, a cost analysis was carried out to assess the economic feasibility of the project, indicating technical feasibility but questionable economic feasibility
