The type of research is documentary analysis with a qualitative approach. The analysis is based on the reflective reading of the ASI files at the Fifth Family Police Station of Siloé, as well as on the interpretation of the discourses presented in the semi-structured interview with a mother who has experienced this situation with her sons and daughters, which served as support to outline the way in which capitalist social relations determine the characteristics that the maternal role should have in society. In this way, the importance of reforming the capitalist social structure is highlighted, which has as an effect the reconstruction of the role of women and mothers in society and therefore in their quality of life, for which an approach is made from the historical-dialectical materialism and from the gender perspective.
