Item Prototipo de aplicación para visibilizar la situación que afrontan los animales en estado de abandono en cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Atehortua balanta, Efrain; Jordán Tróchez, MarisolThe main objective of the thesis is to make visible and raise awareness in people about pets that are abandoned or lost in the city of Cali, so that individuals of all ages understand how serious it can be even for their own lives. For the realization of this project we wanted to make a transmedia product consisting of a prototype of a mobile App, with the aim of mitigating the problem of animals in a situation of abandonment. Within the methodological aspects to achieve the objective of this project, a survey was implemented in order to know the perceptions of people of different ages, social strata and academic levels, in relation to the problem of animal abandonment in Cali, as well as the use they would give to a mobile application to help this population. At the end of the project you will find conclusions based on the survey, the mobile application and the author's interests.Item Una mirada profunda a las principales causas del abandono a la persona mayor en colombia(2024) Casiani Monroy, Yineth Yurani; Cortes Muñoz, Ángela Del Mar; Góngora Castro, Lorena; Samboni Vallejo, AdrianaThe abandonment of older adults in Colombia is a problem that seriously affects their well-being, especially in vulnerable communities where factors such as family disintegration, poverty and lack of institutional care increase their precariousness. This phenomenon impacts not only the physical, but also the emotional and social sphere, weakening their quality of life and deepening their exclusión. Through a hermeneutic review of thirty-four qualitative studies, patterns in family, economic and social dynamics that perpetuase this problem were identified, integrating multiple perspectives for a comprehensive visión. Therefore, the results show that power dynamics in the family nucleus, combined with economic pressures, are determining factors in abandonment decisions, which limits access to support networks, weakens the selfesteem and capabilities of older adults and perpetuates a cycle of social exclusión that increases the risk of depression and cognitive decline. This abandonment transcends physical neglect, also being reflected in the los of opportunities to build meaningful bonds, affecting their quality of life. It is worth mentioning that the findings highlight the urgent need to implement strategies that promote socialization, strengthen self-esteem and encourage the active participation of this population. Addressing this problem in a comprehensive manner requires strengthening support networks, developing inclusive public policies and fostering strong intergenerational relationships, which is essential to break the cycle of isolation, improve the emotional and social quality of life of the elderly, and guarantee their full integration into society.
