Item “Síntesis y caracterización de ligandos n-bencilanilinaditiocarbamato (dtc) y compuestos de coordinación a partir de cu2+, ni2+ y pd 2+ con posible actividad antimicrobiana”(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Rojas Ramírez, Laura Andrea; Flórez López, Edwin; D'vries Arturo, Richard FernandoIn this work, a series of coordination compounds were synthesized from the Nbenzylanilinadithiocarbamate ligand and different transition metals such as Cu2+ , Ni 2+ and Pd2+ . The compounds obtained were characterized by means of spectroscopic techniques such as FTIR, 1H and 13C NMR, and mass spectrometry. From a spectroscopic study by means of visible ultraviolet and from thermogravimetric analysis (TGA / DSC), it is proposed that the dtc is coordinated to the metal in a bidentate way, suggesting a planar square geometry for the metal ions Cu2+, Ni2+ and Pd2+ and the empirical formulas [Cu(dtc)2]·.5H2O, [Ni(dtc)2]·6.5H2O and [Pd (dtc)2] were proposed, determining that the first two compounds have water molecules in their structure. Finally, a reference was obtained on the antimicrobial activity of the copper and palladium compounds in solution with the ATCC E.coli strain, where positive results were obtained inhibiting the growth of this bacteria.
