Item Comparación de metabolitos secundarios presentes en la pulpa de accesiones de Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa por HPLC-MS y GC-MS(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Ramírez Saldaña, German Eduardo; Franco Bahamon, Esteban; Pantoja Pulido, Kriss Dayana (Directora); López Parra, Lizbeth Lorena (Directora)Secondary metabolites were identified in the fruits of Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa, using liquid chromatography with a diode array detector coupled to mass spectrometry in tandem by means of an atmospheric pressure chemical ionization source (LC-DAD-APCI-MS/MS) and gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC- MS). The fruits were collected in duplicate at the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation (AGROSAVIA) and extracts of different polarity (dichloromethane and hexanoic) were prepared by solid phase extraction. The chromatographic profiles obtained were analyzed based on the average retention times and the compounds present in each of the samples. The chemical characterization of the samples identified by HPLC-MS was performed depended on mass spectra and characteristic signals such as molecular ion, fragmentation patterns, and UV/Vis spectra obtained, compared to those reported in the literature. In the case of the samples analyzed by GC-MS, the identification was made with the coincidence percentage of the spectra obtained in the NIST and Wiley libraries. Finally, it was possible to establish conclusive differences in the concentrations of (all E)-β-carotene as the main carotenoid and the relative abundance of the other carotenoids and volatile compounds in the six accessions studied.
