The estimated oath is a figure that is appropriate for the collection of compensation or monetary compensation in civil proceedings, as of the promulgation of the General Process Code, this charge becomes relevant in said processes as it was established as an essential element of the admission of the lawsuit and it was also determined that if the estimated amount was not sufficiently proven this can have adverse consequences for both the lawyer and the client, as a sanction for recklessness or bad faith is expected, such situation leads to an analysis of this figure and its application in civil proceedings, the evidence it must contain and its correct form of application as a guide to understand its application.
