    Terapias complementarias en pacientes con cuidados paliativos, no oncológicos, desde la atención primaria en salud.

    Palliative care provided in primary care, have positive results in terms of improving quality of life, reducing hospitalizations and health costs for patients with chronic diseases. Objectives: To identify the use of complementary therapies in non-oncological palliative care in primary care Methodology: A systematic review was conducted, where the PRISMA flowchart was used, where a compilation of 22 articles with scientific evidence is made, selected during the period 2019-2024, consulted in the different databases: Dialnet, Elsevier, Pubmed, Scopus and making use of the bilean operators: AND,OR & NOT, which allowed to approach patients in non-oncological palliative care from primary health care with complementary therapies. Results: the categories were classified as: the role of nursing, complementary therapies in primary care in non-oncological patients, benefits of primary health care, relating it to the improvement of quality of life through humanized care in non-oncological palliative care patients in order to achieve a contribution from the role of nursing to alleviate the symptoms of these chronic diseases. Conclusion: Complementary therapies from primary health care are aimed at improving the symptoms of patients in non-oncological palliative care, covering various methods or strategies that help to improve everything related to the hemodynamic status, as it focuses on providing a general welfare in the patient from the physical and emotional part.
