Item Propuesta de mejora basada en la metodología Lean Manufacturing para la empresa Metalpro Ingeniería SAS(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Valencia Mosquera, Jeison Gabriel; Amelines Sarria, Oscar Felipe (Director)The objective of this work is to propose an improvement for the company Metalpro Ingeniería S.A.S and promote it so that it is continuous, through a proposal that uses tools from the Lean Manufacturing philosophy. For the development of the research, the pre-experimental method was proposed, which allows obtaining precise information on the current problems that the organization is going through. With the data obtained, the convenience of the application of the Lean tools: 5S and VSM is evaluated and determined, which allow responding to the shortcomings that the company presents in its production processes. It must be taken into account that the commitment and dedication of all the people that make up the organization is vital for it to be a success, or at least to come close to it, the implementation of the Lean philosophy, as well as it is important that they appropriate a new knowledge (training), have measurements (indicators) and their respective periodic monitoring. Said follow-up later allows obtaining information on the improvement of the process, contributing to the objective of improving the productivity and profitability of the company.
