The purpose of this article is to analyze the effects of organizational culture in companies, which is why, in the first instance, the in-depth literature review is addressed, in order to address the concept of organizational culture, analyze the positions of different authors and present a definition that includes common characteristics. In addition, the levels and dimensions that make it possible to determine the existence of culture in an organization, the classification of the types of culture and their characteristics, are analyzed, determining the importance of this factor at present and finally, identifying what the effects of culture are. in organizations. The information used is of a secondary nature, since different documents that address the subject were analyzed and it was found that organizational culture, at present, is one of the most important factors in the performance of companies.
