Item Mejora en el área de clientes nuevos para la distribución de proceso picking en una empresa logística de Cali Valle(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) García Moreno, Jose Luis; Rengifo Ruiz, Joiner Francisco; Arboleda Hurtado, Eddy Santiago; Cortes Vásquez, Mónica Andrea (Directora)The applied research article aims to design improvements in the "New Clients" process, in which the product of the recognition of the difficulties observed mainly in the administrative activities and operational management of the company under study. The research methodology is a mixed approach using the survey technique for convenience, the results allowed to diagnose the current state of the company and compare it against the literature obtained from robust scientific sources such as Scopus, ScienceDirect and academic Gooogle, from which analyzed information about issues associated with the classification and order of stored products. As a result, it was possible to define the entry and exit profile of each product, as well as the standardization of its location in the storage area.
