Item Diccionario móvil de lengua de señas Colombiana(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Bermúdez Arboleda, Luis Fernando; Ramos Villa, Diana Milena; Dinas, SimenaOn specific occasions, when a hearing impaired person needs to communicate with a listener, they encounter a large barrier, since it is unusual for a person without the disability to know how to use sign language, which prevents some kind of communication from being established. In addition to this, another factor is added that affects part of this population and is that of lack of economic resources to formally learn the Colombian sign language. It can be seen how the limit has been pushed to the limit, forcing them to create minority groups in which only people with this disability have participation, thus creating spaces of segregation of this group with relationship with hearing people. This is how communicating such a common and simple activity of information exchange between people can become a challenging and complicated factor for many. This tool was created in order to reduce the communication barrier that exists between the listener and non-listening population, using the technology it was possible that a listener could generate a set of signs that would allow him to communicate with a non-listener , and this in turn could understand the message that was to be conveyed. Therefore this tool allows the listener to know and learn sign language. During the implementation pilot tests were carried out with both listeners and non-listeners, this with the aim of verifying that the tool met the proposed specifications, the tests carried out with adult population, adolescents and school-age children, mainly not listeners, as they are the ones who could actually give a verdict about the design of the signs, because a minimal change in the position of the hands or gestures on the face could completely change the meaning and meaning of the word.
