To do this, a search and review of articles of scientific production in Spanish, English and Portuguese was implemented, which was limited to database. The results obtained showed that when the schizophrenia disorder arises the family group experiences significant changes that generate conflicts in family dynamics, which affects the relationships between its members. A family member takes responsibility and assumes the complete care of the patient. It brings consequences on the physical, emotional, psychological and social level which has an affect directly on the quality of life of both the patient and the family. It is concluded that because of those changes, the family makes a malfunction process, which in many cases it entails to restructure its functionality trying to establish well-being in the whole family system.Item Sistema familiar y ansiedad en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Bolívar Obando, Paola Andrea; Grisales Ladino, Natalia; Moreno Cruz, Leidy Janeth; Martínez Cardona, María del Carmen (Directora)A healthy university seeks the biopsychosocial well-being of students, hence anxiety and the family system are presented as factors that need to be studied, since they are associated with low performance, school dropout and other unhealthy behaviors. In this way, the different changes experienced such as the separation of the family nucleus, diverse and excessive responsibilities can be perceived in a negative way in the student. Given the above, the objective was to determine the relationship between the family system and anxiety in first semester health school students. The sample was made up of 308 first semester health school students, chosen by nonprobability sampling for convenience. The students filled out anonymously and individually two questionnaires; the IDARE and the FAMILY APGAR, in addition to providing biographical data that facilitated the characterization of the sample. Once the questionnaires were filled out, the data were entered into an Excel table, along with the biographical data to be processed by the statistical software Epi Info 7. The results obtained indicate that there is some significant relationship between a type of anxiety and the family system with some biographical data, for example: anxiety-state, extended family, normal functionality and Cali city of origin. Hence, intervention programs that promote well-being can be considered, through the acquisition of Sistema familiar y ansiedad en estudiantes Universitarios 3 resilient lifestyles between anxiety-state and some circumstances such as school pressure, family functioning and economic needs.
