Item Caracterización del impacto socioeconómico y laboral de los egresados del programa de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad Santiago de Cali del 2015A al 2020B(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Lozano Banguero, Laura Esthepanny; García Prado, David; Masso Alzate, John Alexander (Director)This article shows the importance of monitoring through statistical tools. Therefore, a characterization will be carried out on the graduates of the industrial engineering program of the Santiago de Cali University (USC). The characterization will be carried out through the application of a survey that will be structured in three phases and will have 49 questions in total, the first phase will contain the personal information of the graduate, the second will deal with the work history and the third on the academic information and the impact of graduates on the environment. It will be applied to a representative sample of 148 graduates of the industrial engineering program from the period 2015-A to 2020-B. It will be seen that 61.5% of the graduates are working and the majority, with 24.2%, are in the industrial sector and 68.1% have a permanent contract. The graduate stated that both the degree of satisfaction received by the program and the job opportunities for a graduate of the Santiago de Cali University are good, in the same way, the graduate reflected having a great sense of belonging to the University.
