(3) The population under study was students and teachers from third to tenth semester (except ninth semester that were in extramural rotation), which attends the dental clinic of the University of Santiago de Cali during the 2019A period. In the courses that carry out practice on the stage of the dental clinic of the USC there are 415 students and 47 teachers, attending in the 2019 semester. A. (1) In the differents institutions of higher education, especially those that are providing academic programmes in the area of health, the transversal competences should b e articulated in the curricular grid and the course plans, from the start of the race. I n dental programs different organizations consider it important to acquire these skills in the future health professional. (2) The Universidad Santiago de Cali, has an institutional policy to Identify the impact on the curriculum reform in the dentistry program, which began in 2011, the faculty of health through curricular reforms in its curriculum according to resolution CA 14 of 2010 and currently CA 009 of 2017, They seek to incorporate competences into school curricular along institutional lines. In 2018, new curricular guidelines for com prehensive training were incorporated into the development of cross-curricular com petences in order to identify them in the professional profile. He aim of this researc h is to identify the transversal competences in the clinical practice course of the de ntal program of the Universidad Santiago de Cali in the period 2014-2019. Taking a s a guide the book “Fundamentos Para La Implementación De Los Lineamientos Curriculares”. Cuando una persona se encuentra ante una situación de emergencia, el sistemas nervioso y hormonal nos preparan para hacer frente a una amenaza física inmediata desencadenando una respuesta de lucha o huida. (1) El término estrés es entendido científicamente como un proceso evolutivo y cambiante; el "estrés" a veces se usa para referirse a eventos que le suceden a una persona, como perder un trabajo o enfrentar un divorcio, en ese momento se desencadenan "factores estresantes" o la persona se enfrenta a una "exposición al estrés"; por otra parte, el “estrés” también se entiendo como reacciones cognitivas, emocionales y biológicas que provoca "respuestas al estrés".
