Item Identidad cultural y tradición oral en la educación infantil(Univerisad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Moreno Moreno, Angie Paola; Hernandez Cardona, Valentina; Cobo, Johhana PaolaThis article of documentary review proposes the investigation and problematization of How to work on identity and the cultural dimension in early childhood education through oral tradition? The analysis describes the cultural and literary richness that Colombia has and how it contributes to early childhood education, highlighting the new trends that generate innovative strategies for storytelling of tradition. In this sense, a qualitative study was carried out that answers the question posed. For this, three sections were organized: short stories, literature and education; diversity and culture; identity and oral tradition. The results show very valuable aspects at the international, national and local level, compared to the topics of interest, especially the Colombian oral tradition. To conclude, the importance of preserving cultural identity in early childhood education is highlighted, since from a pedagogical perspective the use of stories from oral tradition in children's learning spaces has been forgotten
