Item Estado del arte sobre motivaciones, barreras y beneficios de la implementación de sistemas de gestión de calidad en empresas de transporte terrestre en Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Bermúdez Salazar, William Camilo; Mena Aristizábal, Keimy Julieth; Erazo Lasso, Ruby Magaly; García Jiménez, Juan Camilo (Director)The objective of this article is to conduct a literature review of the implementation of ISO 9001 and application of quality management systems in land transportation companies, using a descriptive methodology where the main tool is the construction of a state of the art based on the search of research articles in databases such as Google Scholar, SciencDirect and Springer in which different case studies related to ISO 9001 are presented, followed by the identification of the most important benefits, limitations, motivations and improvement in the quality of service. From the review, 50 articles were obtained, 27 of them were analyzed and it was found that 50% of them indicate that companies seek the implementation of ISO 9001 as a strategy to improve competitiveness against other companies over the improvement of their internal processes. In the articles reviewed, it is evident that the companies carry out the certification process or the beginnings of it, but there is no information that allows identifying the follow-up and results of the implementation in Colombia.
