Item Oportunidades de exportación del cacao vallecaucano: TLC Colombia – corea del sur(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Cuartas Polo, Eliana; Mejía Cárdenas, Christian Enrique; Ramírez Tulande, Heidy Dayana; Donado Mercado, AlexandraThis article will show whether cocoa from Valle del Cauca could be part of the exportable offer for the South Korean market taking into account the competitive advantage of Colombian cocoa, the characterization of the Latin American exportable supply to South Korea and the potentialization of opportunities For the exportable offer of the department of Valle del Cauca, for this reason, the methodology used in this research is literature review which facilitated data collection and research development. Thus, an important factor for the development of this research was the collection of data from other investigations, which allowed us to obtain results that support the approach of the problem, where it was evidenced that the cocoa market presents billions of dollars annually at the level worldwide, so there is a great opportunity for cocoa producers in Colombia. To conclude, cocoa could indeed be part of the exportable supply because the demand for this product is growing and the South Korean market is increasingly preferring Colombian cocoa that stands out for a fine aroma cocoa.
