The objective of this review was to analyse the information concerning the effectiveness of the physiotherapy intervention supported by digital resources compared to conventional physiotherapy in adult patients with back pain, on functional status, pain intensity and adherence. This study consulted the scientific databases: Pubmed, Bvs, Cochrane, Pedro, Science Direct, Scopus, Episteminikos and Google Scholar. Initial selection of studies, comprehensive evaluation of complete articles and extraction of necessary study characteristics were carried out by two independent review authors. We included 12 study articles (10 clinical trials and 2 cohort studies). The results of this systematic review support the use of available digital resources for the management of lower back pain, with important relation to the reduction of pain levels and the improvement in functionality due to back pain.
