The objective of this article is to discuss how music and art in preschool education play a fundamental role in the development of human beings, allowing the development of different skills and actively contributing to the comprehensive development of children. Preschool is the stage where teaching strategies are tested to meet the objectives of current education and the commitment teachers acquire when teaching children from an early age. Finally, it is stated that education from a transdisciplinary perspective can make use of elements that are part of society and that are seemingly distant from the educational field, such as the arts.
