This work consisted of describing the learning strategies to develop basic operations with whole numbers through the implementation of virtual tools. This work of degree was executed in the General School Pedro Alcántara Herrán located in the city of Cali belonging to the commune six (6); whose participants were sixth grade students. The methodology implemented in this study was qualitative, where the data collection process was carried out through documents (guides), videos and photos. The results show us that students use different strategies to operate with whole numbers through the implementation of virtual tools where each of them has a certain intentionality linked to mathematical tasks.
