Temporomandibular disorders are related to the temporomandibular joint, the muscles of mastication and their associated structures, commonly there is pain located in the face that includes pain in the oral cavity (orofacial pain) sometimes causes headache or jaw pain , joint noises, limitation of jaw movement, difficulty opening or closing the mouth, ear pain, neck pain, among other signs and symptoms; Although temporomandibular disorders almost always present varied signs and symptoms that cause the patient to not be able to eat well, cannot open their mouth properly or cannot carry out their daily activities.
