Item Brecha Digital En Los Docentes De Colombia Durante La Pandemia Del Covid-19(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Oliveros Corrales, Ana Victoria; Arcos Troyano, Jeffrey (Asesor)Teachers experienced difficult situations during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly due to the stress from the compulsory use of digital devices, following the preventive isolation decreed by the Colombian government and the consequent closure of schools and colleges. Institutional directives forced the continuation of the teaching process virtually or remotely, impacting job stability and the need to learn how to use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Therefore, this study shows the complexity of teacher adaptation to the virtual modality and the inequalities concerning age and regions in Colombia. The research also sought to link teachers' challenges with the digital divides upon implementing ICT in 2020, observing the pre-existing and increasing social and digital inequalities, as not everyone had the same privileges, electronic devices, connectivity, or experience using these media.Item Publicidad Online para Servicios Legales: Diferencias Regulatorias entre Google Ads y Plataformas Tradicionales en Colombia.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Restrepo Gil , Jenny Carolina; Arcos Troyano, Jeffrey (Asesor)Legal services advertising has evolved from traditional media (radio, print, TV), characterized by high costs, limited targeted reach, and unclear ethical regulations, to digital platforms such as Google Ads, which allow for more efficient and targeted promotion but have generated a regulatory gap. This shift poses significant legal and ethical challenges, as current Colombian regulations for legal services are not fully adapted to the digital environment, unlike the clear regulations for traditional media. The main objective of this paper is to answer the question: How do legal services advertising regulations differ between Google Ads and traditional platforms in Colombia? The study will analyze how the greater flexibility of digital advertising raises concerns about manipulation and transparency, highlighting the need to adapt regulations to ensure consumer protection in the legal field.
