dc.description	El reporte de caso a presentar expone la situación clínica de un paciente diagnosticado con cardiomiopatía hipertrófica con fenotipo restrictivo, una condición genética rara, caracterizada principalmente por la hipertrofia del ventrículo izquierdo. Los pacientes con cardiomiopatía hipertrófica a menudo son asintomáticos, aunque el espectro de presentación de la enfermedad es amplio. Puede incluir manifestaciones como insuficiencia cardíaca, arritmias y, en casos graves, muerte súbita. Presentamos el caso de un joven de 23 años de edad con diagnóstico de miocardiopatía hipertrófica con fenotipo restrictivo desde los 14 años, quien ha tenido una serie de complicaciones a lo largo de su vida. Si bien este fenotipo no es común, tiene importantes implicaciones pronosticas y en la calidad de vida. La descripción detallada de este caso contribuye al conocimiento y comprensión de la cardiomiopatía hipertrófica restrictiva, subrayando la importancia de considerar este diagnóstico diferencial en pacientes jóvenes con síntomas cardíacos atípicos.
dc.description.abstract	The case report presents the clinical situation of a patient diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with a restrictive phenotype, a rare genetic condition primarily characterized by left ventricular hypertrophy. Patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy are often asymptomatic, although the spectrum of disease presentation is broad. It can include manifestations such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and, in severe cases, sudden death. We present the case of a 23-year-old man diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with a restrictive phenotype since the age of 14, who has experienced a series of complications throughout his life. Although this phenotype is uncommon, it has significant prognostic implications and impacts quality of life. The detailed description of this case contributes to the knowledge and understanding of restrictive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, highlighting the importance of considering this differential diagnosis in young patients with atypical cardiac symptoms.
