Item Maul project - una plataforma para promover las dinámicas de las comunas de la ciudad(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Zapata Serna, Johnny Samuel; Saint-Priest Velásquez, Yana ElidaMaul Project is the name of a web application that born product of the development of an information system at the service of the communities in Santiago de Cali, that looking to spread and promote the activities carried out by people, leaders, organizations, institutions, foundations, companies and the same communities in the communes of Cali, which boost the entire development of the city and make visible the good practices and projects carried out in and with each community; making a major emphasis on the places where high rates of social problems are presented. The Maul Project application is the prototype of a community information system to manage the information produced in each commune and provide an easy-to-use service that allows the collection of relevant data and at the same time be a means that supports the realization of the aforementioned activities where Everyone can contribute. The development of the application is carried out using free software and following the methodological bases implied by prototype development and extreme programming, as well as frameworks that implement architectures such as the Model Model Controller View (MVC). The tools that were used allowed to build a functional prototype of the proposed system, a web application with adaptive design, in which people can register, learn about communities in the city, as well as sites and events; In addition, registered users have the possibility to create their own events, add new communities and sites. According to the model with which the application was built, other municipalities can be easily included, which allows the project to be scalable
