Item Valoración de Empresas por flujos de caja descontados: Aceros mapa S.A(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Vélez García, Hugo Mauricio; Zapata Pedroza, Gianni Leandro; Díaz Grajales, Carmen AliciaThe objective of this work is to obtain the valuation of the company Aceros Mapa S.A, through the discounted cash flow method. This descriptive research allows to obtain financial data of the company and the sector in which it operates, as well as the different strategies developed to continue competing in the market. The information necessary for the development of the work is obtained directly from the administrative staff through visits to the company, secondary sources such as the Bancolombia group, databases Universidad Santiago de Cali and different quotations from books based on the subject discussed. Steps for realizing discounted cash flow include: strategic and financial analysis of the company, financial structure and cost of capital, free cash flow calculation and continuity value cash flow analysis. Each step consists of different sources of information both primary and secondary, to perform an approximate valuation of the business. The result of the valuation of Aceros Mapa S.A is positive for the company taking into account that it is a weight between the level of financial indebtedness (financial obligations) and the company's own resources (shareholders). It generates a greater field of action for investment and increased company value, which increases cash flow generation as such. Purposes that are the objective of the company's shareholders.
