Methodology: This article explores the impact of neuronavigation on healthcare by offering solutions to intraoperative complications, providing significant advantages in terms of patient safety and acceleration of the recovery process. A bibliographic review covering the last five years was carried out, identifying a total of 32 publications through search engines such as Scopus, PubMed, Scielo, Oxford, Springer, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar repository. Results: In the results it was possible to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of neuronavigation, determining the advantages and limitations and identifying the complications associated with its use. Neuronavigation turns out to be a novel and effective technology for performing image-guided surgeries in which the neurosurgeon can observe in real time the situation of the surgical instruments, as well as each of their maneuvers superimposed on three-dimensional reconstructions of images of the spinal column. Conclusions: Neuronavigation has proven to be a valuable tool in spine surgery, improving precision and safety in a variety of procedures, although its limitations and potential associated complications must be considered
