Aesthetics is a fundamental part of the reconstructions or restorations that people perform on their teeth. Currently there are various materials that are stable, functional, aesthetic and biocompatible that provide various benefits to those who want to use them, among them is hybrid ceramic. Overall objective: Carry out a literature review on the mechanical properties of VITA ENAMIC hybrid ceramic. Specific objectives Describe the mechanical properties found in the literature review of Vita Enamic hybrid ceramic. Compare the results of the articles published with the description of the commercial company. Provide pertinent information to the academic community in general, since there is very little. Investigation method: 26 articles published between 2006 and 2020 were used, they helped to obtain the results with respect to the literary review carried out, showing that most of the consulted authors have agreed that Vita Enamic hybrid ceramic is characterized by combining resistant materials and these elastic, offering a high load capacity which means that the tool exhibits several good values in terms of what patients want. Outcome: Vita Enamic hybrid ceramic is accepted by professionals in the dental field. Some research results showed that some aspects should be corrected. However, it is generally well received and provides good results. Conclusion: Most of the claims made by the commercial house that distributes VITA ENAMIC hybrid ceramic are completely true. However, more long-term clinical studies are needed to compare PICN (polymer infiltrated ceramic network) with other dental ceramics.
