Item Barreras en el camino: limitantes en la búsqueda de apoyo por parte de mujeres víctimas de violencia familiar(2024) Quiñones Casierra, Lesly Yuleisy; Renteria Murillo, Keisy Yileni; Villada Guapacha, Enyi Tatiana; Samboni Vallejo, Adriana (Director)This bibliographic review article analyzes the barriers presented by women victims of family violence in Colombia, pointing out how structural factors such as machismo and gender inequality make it difficult for victims to access timely care. In marginalized communities, this problem is intensified by the lack of institutional protection, thus perpetuating a cycle of abuse and normalization of violent behavior in the home. The research adopts a qualitative hermeneutic approach to interpret relevant texts, using the documentary review method and selects 36 studies in relation to the topic. These studies suggest that power and control dynamics affect both women and their children, who, growing up in a violent environment, may replicate these patterns in their future relationships. Therefore, the objective was to understand the affective and emotional barriers that hinder access to support resources for women victims of family violence in Colombia. Among the most important findings, the impact of emotional dependence and control on women's family dynamics stands out, which contributes to their isolation and limits access to support services.
