Item Universalidad y diversidad cultural una mirada desde el cuidado de enfermería(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Vega Cuellar, Juliana; Zapata Celín, Tatiana; Del Jasmine Valencia Arroyave, María Camila; Meneses Urrea, Luz AdrianaCultural Nursing Care is currently of great importance because when nurses combine all those cultural values, beliefs and way of life of individuals with their theoretical and scientific knowledge, the care provided is much more beneficial and comprehensive. Cultural diversity and the universality of care are intrinsically related since both have their origins with primitive man and the development of civilizations. The future nursing professional must be prepared to face the social context that surrounds it, taking into account the new challenges it brings. For this, you must acquire cultural competencies, which you will know, develop and elevate during the performance of your practice. This work is a review of various scientific articles that will allow us to identify the dimensions of cultural care. In its development, the systematic search of research articles in indexed journals of the databases offered in the university library will be taken into account. These articles should be related to cross-cultural nursing, having Madeleine Leininger as a theoretical reference with her theory of transcultural diversity and universality, including authors of national and international stature who have in common the ideal that cross-cultural nursing should be taught from The beginning of the race is for this reason that the need arises to carry out this review.
