Item Conductas de riesgo en relación a la anorexia nerviosa en estudiantes de primer y segundo semestre del programa de odontología de la universidad Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) García Noguera, Ana Isabel; Duran La Rotta, Gabriela; Vargas Silva, Valentina; López Santander, Rodrigo (Director)The study focuses on analyzing risk behaviors associated with anorexia nervosa in dental students, specifically women in their first and second semester at the Santiago de Cali University. Using a non-experimental quantitative approach, data is collected using the EAT-26 questionnaire to explore factors such as body perception and self-esteem of the participants. The objective is to identify risky eating behaviors and suggest preventive strategies that reduce the incidence of eating disorders in this university population. The findings predict a notable prevalence of body dissatisfaction and concern about image among female students, influenced by social norms and beauty ideals. The study is expected to conclude with recommendations for implementing psychoeducational and preventive programs at the university. This work will contribute to the understanding of eating disorders in the academic environment and promote measures to improve the mental and physical health of young women at risk of developing anorexia nervosa.
