Item Evaluación de la participación política de las mujeres en el distrito Santiago de Cali entre las vigencias 2010 – 2021(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Valencia Vallecilla, Stella; Pinto Cuero, Kelly Johanna; Moreno Gutiérrez, José Luis (Director)Based on the importance of women's participation in the public sector and data regarding their representation in the Congress of the Republic of Colombia from 1998 to 2011, this study focuses on the analysis of the implementation of public policies in the Special District of Santiago de Cali, specifically during the period 2010-2021. This text highlights the need to evaluate the impact of public policy on the political participation of women in the territory, referencing national figures on women's representation in the Congress of the Republic. There is observed growth in the presence of women in Congress over different periods, and the research problem is formulated by posing questions about the impact, obstacles, achievements, and progress of implementing public policy to promote women's political participation in Santiago de Cali during the period 2010-2021.
