Item Consideración del cannabis medicinal en la oferta exportadora del valle del cauca(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Flórez Camayo, Paola Andrea; Franco Salamanca, Sofía; Trujillo Ibarra, Dhalma Giselle; Donado Mercado, Alexandra PatriciaThe use of Cannabis for medicinal purposes is an industry that is making its way in the Colombian economy, only in 2016 Law 1787 of 2016 was enacted, which authorized the cultivation and manufacture of inputs and products of the plant solely for purposes medicinal products, thus allowing companies from different departments of Colombia to obtain licenses for the use of seeds for sowing, non-psychoactive cannabis cultivation or psychoactive cannabis cultivation. Currently, Cundinamarca, Antioquia, Cauca and Valle del Cauca are the departments that lead the largest number of companies with authorized crops. Through this literature review document an analysis of the Medicinal Cannabis market in the Valle del Cauca was made and the possible consideration of the derivatives of the product in question in the department's exportable offer, effectively concluding that medical cannabis by the advantages Competitive territory, legal and other aspects discussed throughout the document, it can be part of the exportable offer of Valle del Cauca as long as they manage to solve some aspects that prevent this industry from being maximized.
