Item Violencia de genero: feminicidios en contextos familiares en Colombia(2024) Toro Tumal, Daniela Alejandra; Velez Barrera, Diana Carolina; Gonzalez Martinez, Luisa Tatiana; Samboni Vallejo, Adriana (Director)Femicides in Colombia are a scourge that affects thousands of women, adolescents and girls, this being one of the most serious consequences of gender violence at the national level. After conducting a bibliographic analysis of 30 research articles and taking into account a time frame of 5 years and three major categories for the search, which were: gender violence, femicides and family, it became evident that this problem has great consequences in family contexts, generating psychological damage to the indirect victims, it was also identified that there are several causes of femicide such as jealousy, psychosocial factors and inefficiency in the Colombian judicial system which are determinants for these actions against women to be generated. Likewise, it became evident that the term “patriarchy” is closely related to this problem since it was a constant that was evidenced in the articles analyzed through the selection of three subcategories which were: causes of femicide, consequences at the family level and patriarchy. Taking into account the above, the objective of this literature review article was based on the analysis of the possible causes and consequences of femicide in family contexts in Colombia.
