Item Trascendencia de la acción de repetición(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Tenorio Quintero, Cindy VanessaWhen the conduct of public officials in Colombia causes unlawful damage as a result of intentional or seriously guilty conduct by action or omission and this generates State responsibility, the action of repetition is applied against those officials who, by their conduct, causes deterioration To the public patrimony, this is due to the fact that the State must repeat against its agent, whose qualified conduct is the cause of the sentence of patrimonial reparation of the unlawful damage according to article 90 of the Colombian Political Constitution of 1991. Therefore, the main objective of the action of repetition is to achieve full or partial recovery of the resources used by the State to compensate those affected, as it derives from its responsibility. In addition, public officials in Colombia exercise their positions in a responsible manner and in full compliance with the law.
