Item Relación de la práctica de la Religión Cristiana y la Salud Mental de estudiantes de Psicología de la Universidad Santiago de Cali en el año 2023.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Sinisterra, Samay Selena; Landazury, Mariam Yajarira; Bolaños, Diego Fernando (Director)The objective of the study was to analyze the relationship between the practice of the Christian religion and mental health in Psychology students at the Santiago de Cali University. A semi-structured interview was used as a research instrument, in which 5 individuals participated. The results detailed personal data in an attempt to auscultate religious practice, perception of well-being and discomfort, patterns were identified in the quality of the bond, discomfort and positive and negative coping of the participants. The discussion addressed the complexity of the relationship between religion and mental health. Internal tensions, trust in divine intervention, questions and the influence on life decisions were analyzed, revealing the diversity of experiences. It is concluded that the participants perceive that the Christian religion positively influences mental well-being, offering a comprehensive framework of support. Although the findings highlight the importance of faith, the diversity of coping strategies to maintain mental health is recognized..
