Cali, Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Salazar Lozada, Alejandra; Guevara Fletcher, Carlos EduardoThe purpose of this research is to diagnose the compliance of the training program in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the food handlers corresponding to establishments attached to the Santiago de Cali University. In accordance with the provisions of Resolution 2674 of 2013, an application instrument containing 23 related questions was developed, which was applied to 62 food handlers from 20 food vending establishments. The results show that the level of compliance is medium according to the hours of training that these employees have had (38% for 10 hours). Finally, a promotional brochure was designed to strengthen the Training Program on Good Manufacturing Practices for their respective socialization to the university community and its authorities, as well as to food establishment administrators and their collaborators.
