This research aims to inform families, educators, and other interested parties about the consequences of excessive use of technology and electronic devices on the development of children aged 1 to 6 years. In today's society, it is evident that parents and caregivers often use these technologies as a distraction tool without any educational purpose, overlooking the negative impacts on children's development. Through a bibliographic or documentary review, the study seeks to understand why families resort to giving children electronic devices and, more importantly, the consequences this practice has on their development. The goal of this research is to raise awareness among parents, educators, and even children themselves about the significant impact of excessive technology use. Additionally, the study aims to gather research documents that provide 3 tools to prevent children from developing harmful behaviors such as addiction, aggression, or even self-harm.
