Item Revisión de la herramienta VSM (Value Stream Mapping) en el sector productivo en Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Peñuela Rojas, Emmanuel; Salazar Acosta, Christian David; Ramirez Guespu, Julian AndresThis article identifies the VSM (Value Stream Mapping) as one of the main tools of Lean Manufacturing that are used to identify the reality of a company and thus be able to start the process of continuous improvement, achieve greater productivity, efficiency and profitability. To analyze the impact of the implementation of the Lean tool, a review of the literature was carried out in recognized and high-impact databases that the Universidad Santiago de Cali and the University of the Andes in Colombia, where a batch of cases of e studies in which the tool was applied in different companies belonging to the production sector, which built three scenarios, corresponding to the Lean Manufacturing tool at the regional and international level. Finally, it includes the analysis of results organizing the data obtained in tables and figures, which highlight the efficiency of this tool by checking its validity, also expose success stories in its implementation, as well as relevant information that could be used as a basis for companies that have not implemented it and decide to opt for your application.
