    Based on the importance of mental health and in the same way on the influence it has on people, it was decided to evaluate the possible levels of Burnout presented by the medical practitioners of the Santiago de Cali University, in the face of stress-related tensions their professional practice and academic load. For this same reason and the increase in academic demands as practices, the need arises to implement a support in a biopsychosocial and systematic way for the benefit of the student, that is, to view the student in a social, psychological and biological way, based on the triple system of answer and your academic environment.Currently in work or academic settings, globalization together with instability are problems that are responsible for generating stressful conditions which make many of the professionals or students of professional practice experience various harmful sensations in front of their health process, therefore, it is It is important to bear in mind that these types of reactions arise in highly demanding spaces such as or in this case in a place of professional practice and a higher education institution. The objective of this study is to explore the levels of Burnout presented by medical practitioners at the Santiago de Cali University in the face of stress tensions related to their professional practice and academic load.
